By using Suncastic (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. Who we are

Suncastic is operated by Beyond Slovakia, s.r.o. (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you have questions, contact support@suncastic.com.

2. Using the Service

Suncastic helps you estimate solar conditions and PV output from weather forecasts and the PV system details you provide. The Service is for personal and planning use.

Please use Suncastic responsibly. You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to break it, interfere with other users, scrape it at scale, or reverse engineer any part of it except where the law allows.

3. Accounts

If you sign in, authentication is handled by Google. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your device secure.

4. License

We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service. This is a license, not a sale.

5. Forecasts and disclaimers

Forecasts are estimates. Weather can change quickly and PV output depends on factors we can’t fully know (shading, soiling, hardware behavior, local micro-climate, outages, and more). We don’t guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability, and we don’t promise any specific results.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business interruption arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

7. Third-party services

Suncastic relies on third-party providers (for example Firebase/Google, Open-Meteo, and Nominatim). Their services and terms may affect availability and behavior of Suncastic, and your use of those services may be governed by their own terms.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and why.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the Service after changes, you agree to the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Slovakia, unless applicable law says otherwise.
